N/S/E/W 4-prong pics?

I don''t know if there''s a specific name for them, but does anyone have pics of rings with the prongs oriented at N/S/E/W (or the 12/3/6/9 o''clock positions)? TIA!

I have a pendant set that way...but I can''t remember that I''ve seen a PSer with their ring prongs like that. I''m sure it can be done, though!

You''re right I think, alternately "kite set"... I''m not sure if they''re interchangeable terms or if there''s a difference.

I know I''ve seen at least three or four on PS but I don''t know how best to find them. Maybe try a search or sift through the forum eye candy folder?

I thought "kite" and "starset" only referred to princess cuts...DOH! There's a thread somewhere about starset princess cuts. That might give you some perspective of how a setting would look! And, from your av, I just assumed you were looking to do this for a round stone..I probably should have asked! Is there a certain shape you're looking for?
