I know you can't get a natural (as opposed to lab created) sapphire or ruby for that price.

Not sure about the other gems.

All items are low quality. Are they natural? Who knows but the price you're paying is the price for the silver only so I wouldn't worry about it.

A good idea to check out the seller's feedback on toolhaus.org, not on ebay. Very revealing. I would not get my hopes up. Best regards, Lee

I don't know if the gems are natural but know that the quality is very poor. The sapphires are opaque (but listed as such, so at least that part is true), some of the stones are listed as SI2 which is described further down as having cracks and inclusions that are easily visible with the naked eye, the colour of the stones are either too dark or too light with poor saturation. Considering the price though, although low, are still not bargains.

So to summarise the Toolhaus feedback:-

Rings are stainless steel not silver
Broken, chipped stones
Fake gemstones
Seller provides false tracking number
High proportion of packages never arrive
Ring sizes are incorrect

..... and the list goes on. If you can cancel your transaction I would - sorry. :nono:

Thank you very much for all your comments. I really appreciate them.

And do you Think that the white sapphires usted as accent stones are natural? I Have another ring from same seller and they sparkle a lot.

Thanks again

Ruby

Can't tell from a photo but judging from the other info on the seller, I wouldn't count on it. Glass sparkles a lot too.

Generally CZ sparkles even more than sapphires. Mostly CZ is used in junk jewelry as it is dirt cheap, durable and showy. If it throws fire with lots of color then it is likly CZ. Best regards, Lee

If the white accent stones are very sparky, they are unlikely to be sapphires. They could be glass or even cubic zirconia.

You are probably right. The only thing that makes me doubt is that the Seller specifies without problem that is cz in other ítems. In fact I did read a feedback where someone suggested him to use cz always as that person thought that his/her ring would be brighter with cz instead of white sapphires.

So, these ones are probably not ruby either, right?

Why are you even looking at the items he has for sale? They are clearly dreadful.7

If they are rubies and his feedback suggests that some of his gemstones are synthetics, the ruby will be filled, dyed, BE diffused or composite.

Think about it, if you had 3ct of ruby that was even half-way decent, would you (a) set it in silver and (b) sell it potentially for under $30?????????

What is your reasoning to doubt the plentiful reviews that the items listed and sold are not as represented? Do you really believe that you can get a 3 ct ruby ring for $30?

New person here, (To both forums and gems) but I think that the fact that a 'natural' corundum has been apparently put into plated material is a bit sketchy. The fact that it says silver on one part of the page and white gold plating elsewhere really cannot be a good sign. I'd honestly doubt that these rubies are even good synthetics.

Save your money and invest in something with better quality so you don't have to wonder.
