Neatfreak- Trolley question!

I was thinking about how awesome your idea of renting a trolley was to take everyone over the bridge after your wedding ceremony. I was thinking this might be a fun idea to have our family taken on a little tour while we got some pictures taken.

I have seen a lot of websites for trolley rentals, but who knows if they are good or not! Could you tell me who you went through? Was it really expensive or one of those expenses that are worth it because it was fun??

Also, did you have your trolley drop you off at the restaurant after? A few of these places want the people doing the renting to come up with the destination itinerary but I am hoping to find someone who can work with me to chose where we should go.

Hey there!

We rented through DBA Cable Cars and their # is 415-922-2425. We dealt with Andy who was super nice and made the process very easy to deal with. I would recommend them, they were on time, and took us on a fantastic tour. They also took us over the golden gate bridge, and we got some FANTASTIC pictures there!

The cost was well worth it IMO. It was about $700 all said and done. We got some great pics because we were able to take the trolley over the GG bridge!

There ya go! As you can see, we had a blast. They give you 3 hours of time, but the one thing I would suggest is to drag people around for no more than 2 hours. Although we had a fun time, after 2 hours everyone was ready to go home (including us!), so I am glad we arranged to drop everyone back off at the reception location (or their hotels) after 2 hours then had the trolley drop us at our hotel after. Worked out much better for everyone, and we had some alone time on the trolley after we dropped everyone else off.

Can I ask where they took you on your tour?

Just curious! I feel like I am stealing your wedding plans- I hope you dont mind!! You just look like you had so much fun!!
