Necklace / Chain website with good quality and prices?

I had a Gene/Precision Gem umbalite garnet set into a yellow gold Stuller setting. The stone was actually a birthday present for me, but now I am thinking of giving it to my youngest daughter for her birthday. I realized that either way - we don''t have any chains that work for it. The only chains I have in yellow gold look too flimsy and are too short.

So, ideally, I''d like to get a chain that is 16" and has some sort of safety catch/nice clasp to it. I don''t want it to look too flimsy, but I also don''t want to pay a mint. She is young and there is a risk of loss (although she doesn''t lose jewelry - the risk is still there).

Any ideas or an esty seller?
