need computer help to upload wedding photos!

Hi! I''m hoping a computer smartie can help me. We paid to buy all the proofs and photos on CD from our photographer. We have them! Yay! HOWEVER, I can''t figure out how to upload the photos onto yahoo so our families can print the photos they like. The photographer is fine with the upload and didn''t copyright any of the photos (and I adore my photographer, if anybody is looking in No. Cal, Melanie Arndt [at Melanie-Arndt.com] is fantastic).

When I try to upload the photos they get terribly fuzzy and weird looking. I think they are 18 KB (or is it MB? I think it''s KB) each, so are they just too big? They will load onto Yahoo, but they just don''t look right. Does anybody have any ideas, or a different website to use, to help me upload these suckers? It has to a website where people can pay to print the photos they want.

Reb, if they are 18kb that is rather small... maybe you are downloading thumbnails instead of the actual pictures themselves. The size of the file will vary with the quality that the photographer used to take them, but you should be looking for a file much bigger. They will probably be 600kb or bigger. Look through all the folders and try to find files that are large like that, you can right click and hit properties to check the file size. If I were you, I would drag those files into another folder on you computer, then if you want to crop or do anything like that you can. Also, you may want to reduce their size as well, so they will be quicker to upload online. you can do that with photoshop, but for simple editing and easy viewing I like to use IrfanView - it''s freeware, so you can do a google search for it if you like.
