Buying 21 yr. old daughter a digi camera for a Christmas gift. I''m clueless, so what is the coolest best new thing going?

Is the Fuji 30 a good buy?

She is adapt at all the tech stuff, so let me hear your suggestions.

Canon SD700 IS.

FABULOUS camera. One of the few with image stabilization (to eliminately blurriness from handshake).

Quick response time, many pre-set modes, some manual capabilities, variable ISO setttings, good performance in low light. Small enough to carry in your purse.
