After these 2 stones priced the same both awesome asets

Tough call! Have you seen them in person? Does one speak to you over the other?

The GIA stone has the perfect numbers IMO however, the AGS stone has the light ray tracing (I prefer AGS grading for that
reason). Asets both look good. The AGS stone says its H&A...have you looked at both with an H&A viewer?

Just trying to find a reason to take one over the other. Have you looked at the color of both upside down side-by-side? One
may be a higher G than the other.

Ok. Yes the GİA has better proportions just by a tiny bit.

The GİA has thinner arrows and more hot spots which has more scinellation

The AGS has thicker arrows and smaller hotspots but more Fire.

Under the led light the AGS showed to have more action more flashes etc.

This is an online purchase however i will ask which is whiter.

İnclusion wise i dont think i should be worried about either.


We have looked at the hearts aswell and both look very symetrical. The H&As pic im attaching is for the AGS

The ags scored a 0.8 on the HCA with the rock size indicator on average

The GİA scored a 1.2 with the rock size indicator on big.

The sales rep said he was more inclined to the AGS one he feels more comfortable with it.

Both the same price and seemed very professional and imformative we spend 3+ hours chatting

İ am torn. İm kind of leaning towards the GİA scrictly because of the average numbers however the AGS had more to show under the light.

İs this a case of whst the eye can see and what the machine has noted down?

So the AGS has more.fire and is average

The GİA has less fire but is BİGGER.

İ think it also considers the table % possibly however they are almost identicial in size.
The gia is 0.77 and the ags is 0.771 if that even makes any difference.

İts a hard choice and i know id be happy with either however i struggle making choices on my own.

i personally want the most bang for my buck. Did you see the two stones side by side? Did you see more fire? Maybe you would notice that more than size. I would also be bothered by the fluorescents in the AGS. I have faint in my current stone.
You can’t see it, but it bothers me knowing it.

Flourencense doesnt bother me.
İ will request to see the stones side by side again and pics top down.

İ want most bang for buck aswell.
Priced the same.

İts just i cant choose.

Proportion wise would you be inclined towards one or the other

So I would go AGS!
I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in size.

ASETS look good.
Measurements are a whisker difference.
So the next thing I would want to see is video footage of both stones side by side in normal/ house lighting/ sunlight.

İ may also request to see them under normal lighting conditions side by side but looks like ags is winning according to the experts here.

Hopefully the colour is better on the ags as some say they tend to be soft on the colour grading

No, it will come down to how much fire calls to you in the side by side.

Yeah, still prefer the AGS because it has a tiny bit more fire(smaller colored sparkle). They are both really nice. Watch that video a bunch of times and see which one you gravitate toward, more white flash or more smaller color sparkle.
