I am a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. I went dress shopping at A Net''s enchanted dream, and found the perfect dress...only it was $1000. I thought maybe I could find it online and purchase it for cheaper, but due to decresed sales at their store, they do not release the name of the designer until after you have put 60% down on the dress. The style # is 2066, which is the same number listed if it would be online. They did have "AE" before the style number on the tag, which could possibly be an initial of some sort. There wee a few dresses that I tried on by the same designer, but one dress was heavily beaded with silver embrodery. It was an A-line skirt, made of chiffon, and there was a satin sash around the hip area. The dress that I feel in love with style #2066). It is a mermaid shaped dress...the bodice is heavily beaded with silver embrodery, and hidden boning. It has a raised side and is slighty rouched. The train is plai

n, but it has a slight picked up effect. If anyone that has gone to A Net''s or used to work their could help me figure out the designer please let me know. It would end a lot of heartache for me. Also if anyone knows of any designer with the initials "AE" please feel free to comment.

1 more thing, I took a picture in the dress, and will hopefully have it up soon.

Thank you so much, Natalie

My first guess would be an Allure Exclusive. Thats the designer of my dress and I had the same issue you did! Luckily there was a place that kept the tags on the dress for me to figure it out! The other problem I had was that the style number on the store tag did NOT match the designers number, so that may or may not be the case too. As for Allure, there is a website, but Allure Exclusives can't be found. I was told that they do not advertise or show the dresses on the internet. This is what they told me, and I believe them because I have searched and searched and not been able to find a picture. They did let me take pictures in the store after I was sold, so I do have pics now. :)

I agree. If it is an allure exclusives you will not be able to find it anywhere online. My dress is an allure exclusives and the boutique didn''t even have a catalog with my dress in it.

I don''t know why they do silly things like that, kinda seems strange to me because I know I looked online to get an idea of dresses I wanted to try on. I just happened to come across the allure exclusive and fall in love with it during my search.

Good luck!

Neg: search on here.. see if you come up with anything similar.

The only dress I can find that matches your description somewhat is this dress. The train is what''s throwing me.

Is it close?

Hmmm, I''m sorry I can''t be much help finding the dress, but could you take a trip to New Orleans to go to Pearl''s Place? 1) They''re known for their great prices, 2) They carry a large number of designers, including Allure. So, if your dress IS an Allure Exclusive, maybe you could find it there if you went yourself and looked? I''ve heard that their service isn''t great at the store compared to their mail order, but the prices are definitely right. I ordered my dress for under 500 going through them (including shipping), whereas the bridal shop I found it at wanted 1100. Good luck!!

My dress is also an Allure, and I emailed the pic of me in the dress to Pearl''s Place, and they were able to identify the style number of the dress for me. They also had it available at quite a discount, and I would have ordered from them, but the boutique decided to match their price.
