Need help finding an 18k necklace

A friend of mine is getting married, and I''ll be giving her some kind of jewelry (preferably a necklace), and my budget is $200.

I''m really having a hard time finding anything appropriate for her, I''ve mostly come across 14k chains and 22k necklaces, I don''t know if I''m looking in the wrong place. I''ve checked out GoldenMine, which is the only place thus far that I feel has anything remotely close to what I''m looking for.

I''m thinking a delicate fancy chain maybe with both WG and YG (not a must), maybe with some type of twists?

So please, if any of you have come across some nice delicate necklaces in 18k gold, let me know! Same thing if You know of any websites that sell 18k gold jewelry...

Lill, I just bought an 18K white gold chain, but it is not a necklace. I bought it thinking that I was going to buy a tiny cross which would need to go on a chain, which I may now not do. I did find a great 16" chain, however!

PS-I just noticed the prices! Unless you add another "0" to your budget, I am afraid that those necklaces are not practical!

I found this necklace at the JewelBasket.com website. It, also, comes in considerably above budget at $579.00 and it is pretty simple. I do not know if all two-tone 18K necklaces are going to be this costly or if I am only looking in the worst places . It is 18" long. At the risk of saying that the Emperor has no clothes, this doesn't appear to be two-toned to me, either. Does anyone else see the white in it?

, they do have some nice stuff, but the chains I liked were a bit more expensive than I had in mind, uhm, alot more expensive, haha. So I'm beginning to think that this is isn't realistical, I prob won't find much in my price range, especially since the price of gold has gone through the rough lately.

I liked that chain you posted, but You're right, I don't think there's any WG in there...hm...OR maybe I just need to put my glasses on?

I did however check out Blue Nile, I found a few pieces that I liked, the bride is pretty young (23), so I feel like I want to get her something she can wear now, and has a bit of a modern design, but still not to trendy.

18K is so darn expensive....but i love it.

i like the 18k ball earrings....but for that price they will be hollow, not solid. still very good looking, stylish and elegant yet can be worn with jeans. ok, i like them.

You''re right, they''re prob hollow. I remember seeing ball earrings at a local jewelers, they were a tad bit smaller, a little more expensive, but not hollow...So they might work with the heart-pendant...Hm.

I was looking within the parameters I had been given, but I found this one anyway. Even though it is only 14K and is $129.99. I can't help myself. I just love it! Eventually I decided I wouldn't try to hide it from the rest of you! I've been mooning over this necklace!

Thanks, I know you were. But the chains I came up with in my price range felt to "ordinary", more like a chain to be used with a pendant, whereas I'm looking for something with a design, so it can be worn alone. The link to the website which you provided had lots of chains/necklaces in the design I was initially looking for (and would still prefer), but they are unfortunatley in 14k gold. It's just a cultural thing, 14k isn't really sold where I am, eventhough it's a great value, so I would prefer it to be 18k. Ahh, I really really liked some stuff that were 14k though.

Lill, Amazon has some necklaces that are made of 18K white gold. Some are under $200.00 and some are over $200.00. This pendant features a flower made of rubies.
