need help finding small Brown Pincess cut diamonds

Hello all, i'm new to this site but i've been looking around the web for some small brown princess diamonds for quite awhile. I want 10-12 stones, 2.25x2.25mm or 2.5x2.5mm... I've found a ton of 1.5x1.5 and a few 3x3 but the setting i want i need the sizes i listed. I've called several different diamond dealers some from the list of colored stone venders on this forum but no success. I know someone has to have some....if anyone can tell me where i can find these i'd really appreciate it....

Is your jeweller (shop / bench) not able to source these for you?

I've talk to 3 different jewelery/dealers and only one was able to find me 1.5x1.5 mm the rest told me they didn't know where i could get any that small that they said they only deal in the half carat range brown diamonds... Let me ask do you know where or how i can get someone to source them for me?

Make sure you contact them directly. What you are looking for will probably not be listed in anyone's inventory. It may even have to be cut specifically for you. Best of luck. Let us know how you make out.

I'm kind of afraid i'm not going to be able to find them...and having them specially cut sounds very expensive, is that common to have stuff cut like that? I've been told i can get them in round in almost any size but i'm just not a fan of round diamonds...but i will definately keep you posted if, when, and where i find them.

I think the issue you will face is you are looking for a fairly unpopular colour in a rather uncommon size. Most people do not want to pay much for brown diamonds, especially ones in that size. So not many cutters/retailers are willing to invest their time or money in them.

You would probably have better luck finding slightly off white (j-k) or yellow diamonds. And they would probably be cheaper than having 12 browns cut custom.

I may be way off base though. See what the vendors have to say.

Wanted to update you on the hunt for the stones....On Ebay a guy named Nonni screen name Libertygems hunted down 12, 2.3x2.3 brown diamonds for me .89 cts for $335. Took him a week to get the size and similar color all assembled... I purchased them today and should have them on about 10 days...i'll make a follow up post once i receive the stones
