Need help finding theaded earring nut

Lost one of my earring nuts while working out but not the Diamond stud and I am having a hard time finding another. I am looking for a threaded screw on nut that is about .098mm in size. Checked about 5 stores and all of them had the small nuts and help would be appreciated. I am at a lost and was hoping I didn't have to have new post put on they where a gift and I don't know where they came from but they are 2 carats

could you contact any of the PS vendors with this information and perhaps they can find the piece you are looking for? They all have access to wholesale items ... or even a local jeweller in your area - one that does custom work?

Most of the PS vendors are not full jewelry stores (other than a couple), so I wouldn't recommend contacting them for a part not originally supplied by them. You need one of those local jewelers to actually look in a catalog and see if they can order a larger one for you. Or contact whoever you originally bought the earrings from.

0.098mm is really, really tine - what exactly did you measure? Most earring posts are around 0.6 or 0.8mm in diameter.

Went to the local jeweler and he measured it and it was.97mm to .98mm I purchased a nut from a shop in New York that fit a 1mm post but it went though the first hole but not the second hole.
