Need help picking one out of two rings!

Hello everyone! I'm a new member to the forum, and currently torned between two choices for my engagement ring. Please help!
The first one is the Tiffany Ribbon and the second one is the Harry Winston Belle. The two stones are of comparable quality and price, but the Ribbon is about 0.25 ct bigger than the Belle. I realize that they are both unique/less popular than most classic and timeless designs, and I think I like that. I've looked into some of the custom jewelers recommended here, but none of them is close enough to me and I feel like neither of these two designs can be easily "duplicated". I've put so much thought into these two and feel like I can't go for either one of them without regreting.
About the pictures, they are all cell phone shots at the store and don't do the rings justice, especially the ribbon, which looks more delicate in person.

They're both beautiful, but having tried on the ribbon myself, and loved it, I can see why you like it. It seems halos are everywhere, but that one is stunning. Hmm... I'd say if you want unique and unconventional then go for the ribbon!

The ribbon gives better finger coverage overall but I think the Belle will be more timeless. I guess it's down to which one is most comfortable on you and which one you like the best.

I love them both, but it's a big decision you don't want to get wrong. Maybe make a list of what you love about each one & see which gets a higher score?

Personally I would choose Belle

I'm not a fan of the HW Belle with a RBC. The halo design creates air gaps at the corners with a rBC. Maybe with a cushion or princess cut diamond to cover the air gap.

I do love the Tiffany Ribbon and there are some nice copies of it from various designers. It doesn't look as busy IRL as they pic makes it appear. In fact I think it makes the center stone pop out more so than a halo design.

the camera is focussing too much on that busy counter. I really don't think the stone gets lost in the Ribbon IRL

I like the antique feel of the "belle" from the top down, but the profile view seems very architectural and modern, and basically out of sync with the top view. I'd go with the "ribbon."

I am loving the ribbon on your hand. They're both gorgeous, but there's something extra special about the ribbon IMO .

Thank you all so much for the ideas and votes. I think I'm gonna go with the Ribbon. My boyfriend liked the Ribbon better than the Belle after the store visits. He thinks the Belle looked "hard" or less feminine on me. But before going to the stores, I ,actually we both, had our hearts set on the Belle. It looks even more exquisite in person, and I thought I prefer a thinner band, but maybe it just doesn't work with my round "meaty" fingers. It does appear to have better workmanship though. On the other hand, the Ribbon is a big suprise in person. None of the pictures we saw online captured the beauty and the smart design of the ring. I absolutely agree with solgen above when she said the Ribbon "makes the center stone pop out more so than a halo design". I guess I just couldn't let go of the Belle because it was my favourite and I got attached. And also, I was fighting the idea of "why doesn't such a beautiful ring look good on me?" No way! Everything should look good on me!! But seriously, I still don't see how the Belle looked "hard" on me, the square-ish shape maybe? He can't quite explain it either.
Anyway, I'm so relieved after making the decision, so again thank you!
