Can I get some help from the better eye's than mine on here? I finally cobbled together 6 close enough benitoites to make a pair of earrings. I currently have an almost 4mm pair of studs, bezeled. I love them but they are so tiny and I have massive ears. Sadly, I also have sensitive ears so I can't wear anything heavy.

Here are the stones in the layout I'd prefer. Any idea how they should he set? I don't want to bezel every stone as it sort of closes out the sparkle but I like the protection and no prong issues. Is there a faux bezel or external bezel design anyone has seen?

The stones are 4mm rounds, 3mm rounds, and 6x4mm pears. They look rubbish in the lighting but so much better in real life

TIA

I love that cluster style! So pretty! I have a benitoite set too :) I think your set up is really nice !

What about a ‘bezel’ only around the inside perimeter of the stones and one central bead prong in the middle. I’m sure there can/will be open work under the outside ‘bezel’ and on the side of it to let light in/ease of cleaning.

Maaaybeee this might close off less light to your stones than full individual bezels would?

That’s what I was thinking but couldn’t for the life of me think how you keep the center anchored. Thank you

Oh!
I’m sure you could get a jeweler to make that center bead prong into the shape of a ships anchor.
ahoy boys!
I kid, I kid….

Love this! the bezel looks really good around all of them

Thanks all, I found a few examples (not super close) but I am rethinking bezel just because the stones will still be very much surrounded in metal and my currents studs have that closed off look. Is there such a thing as a faux bezel for earrings? I can't seem to find any examples, but if I took Rfisher's and say added prongs?

These are actually super pretty but that is a very fine thin bezel, is that realistic? All my bezeled stones are a little chunkier.
