My Wedding coming up this Saturday! I''m so nervous!

The location is on Clement Street in SF, and I know parking is big pain there! I was hoping if maybe somebody can help me in directing my guest on where to park. Is there any parking garage near 9th and 10 th Avenue? Is there a street near there where parking is easy to find?

Please help!

Thanks

How many people? I'd really suggest carpooling. Otherwise, just walk. I've never had a problem parking there. Yes, I was pissed and grouchy about it, but that was only cuz I had to walk a few blocks. Honestly, the blocks are so small, it's really not a big deal. I was only grouchy cuz I'm from LA and get grouchy if I don't have a parking lot with spaces right in front of the entrance. Parking in that city always makes me grouchy, but my wife makes me go to various restaurants/stores on Irving or Clement all the time and if I accept parking more than 2 blocks away, I always find a space.

If people are from the City, they'll know and understand. How many out of the Bay Area people are you getting?

Just warn them parking is difficult and to budget extra time to look for a space. Basically it's all street parking and no guarantees anywhere and no big lots around that area that I know of, so the ywill have to fend for themselves. I was worried about this too, our rehearsal dinner was on geary where parking is terrible, I just told ppl ahead of time and they all made it there fine

PS - relax, you sound a bit stressed - it's not your problem to find everyone parking, that's their job, remember your job on your wedding day is to smile, enjoy yourself, and get married!!!

Hahaha, yeah, that''s actually the most important thing. Relax and try and enjoy the experience. Parking is not something you should really be concerned about a week before your wedding. I never got parking instructions either when I attended a wedding in SF or when I had mine there. In any case, if someone does ask, it''s something you farm out to the BM and Groomsmen to take care of. Or your parents/future inlaws.

thanks for the tips guys. Yeah I get grouchy as well if I have to attend a wedding in SF but it was the wife to be decision so no complaining from me lol lol lol..I just wanted to give my guest heads up for the parking situation. I''ll have about 90 people from the east bay coming up. Thanks for the car pool tip..i will pass that on to everybody. For my rehersal, it took me 30 mins to find parking while all my groom men found parking in under 5 mins!

Thanks again
