Need Help with Shoes, Tux Color, Etc.

It''s almost time for my wedding, less than 3 1/2 months to go. I am still in a dillemma about a couple of things.

Bridesmaids are wearing blue velvet - What color shoes should they wear?

I''m wearing an ivory dress (that really looks white) would it look okay if groom wore a white suit instead of an ivory?

My bridesmaid haven''t purchased their dress yet - What do you think is an appropriate time limit to give them if the wedding is July 12th?

Since I have out of town guests coming when should I send my invitations out?

These are a few of the things I''m still stuck on.

Let me try to answer all the questions:

Dress + Shoes: Hmm I would use ivory or silver or even gold. I think a metallic would be beautiful. Or a powder blue.

If you want him to wear a white suit and he wants to then I think it''ll be fine. Your dress will probably look white anyway.

I''d give them until the middle of June. It''s getting too close for my taste, but I could be wrong.

I think invitations are supposed to go out no more than about two months ahead. So I''d wait until at least next months, someone correct me if I am wrong.

I sent my invitations quite early (3 1/2 months ahead of time) as my wedding is a destination for most guests. Don''t know if this is correct, but it has caused my guests to begin booking hotels, etc., which makes everything easier down the line!

Hey date twin! My girls are wearing a dark almost navy blue dress, and we''re doing silver shoes, so that''s my favorite option obviously! Are your girls ordering dresses or buying directly from a store? If they are ordering it, they need to do it SOON!!! My girls just finished ordering, and the last one isn''t promised till late June, so if they need alterations, it will be very close!

I''m planning on trying to have our invitations out by early May. I know technically that''s kinda early, but I can''t wait!

Are we talking white/ ivory head to toe tux? Or just white/ivory shirts etc? If it''s the head to toe option, I would take a swatch of my gown with me to the tux place. There are SO MANY thousands of shades of white and Ivory I would not want to be wearing a different shade than the person standing next to me in each pic. If it''s just the shirt/etc... get whatever you like best.
