Hello Gals!

Long story short, my friend''s August wedding got called off and I''m stuck with this Alfred Angelo BM dress. It''s a burnt-orange color and don''t ever see myself wearing it.

There''s 7 of us bridesmaids, and as the MOH, I thought I''d start checking out our options for unloading these dresses. There''s about 4 different styles between all of us.

Does anyone know of any wedding/bridal party dress websites/services where I can offer it for sale?

I''ve been trolling eBay, and there doesn''t seem to be much success in selling BM dresses there.

THANKS for your help!

Does pre-owned wedding dresses have a bridesmaid''s dress section? That would be where I would go first...

craigslist and the knot might be good options as well

Here are a couple more options for you... You could always put them up for sale at EBay first and see what luck you have and go from there!

www.abeautifulbride.org

www.woreitonce.com

Good luck!

I think you should all sell them/list them on the same place in case a bride is looking for a group of dresses...just a suggestion.

But really, I think the bride should pay you for them.

THANKS for all the great suggestions!

neatfreak- is pre-owned wedding dresses a website? hadn''t heard of it, but will google it and see what it''s about!

so happy- craigslist is a good option. dunno where i could list it on the knot, do they have a classifieds section or bio?

beachbound- will check those sites out!

surfgirl- yep, totally agree that they should be listed in one place. i''m not really close with some of the girls, so don''t know what their plans are, but certainly plan to investigate. and as far as the bride paying for them.... yeah, that would be the "right" thing to do, but this bride has soooo many issues going on right now (FI was the one that called off the wedding) that this is the last thing on her mind.

you go to you''re state''s knot section and simply create an everyday type of post. you''ll see others like it on there.

I was thinking craigslist too. Good luck!

Oops! Sorry, yes it is. It''s just preownedweddingdresses.com.

I have a dress listed there right now, it''s a great little site and I know that they at least do MOB dresses too...

no BM dresses on preowned....com, just Bridal gowns and MOB/G

it''s a great site!

Ask them if they''ll let you list there anyway...I think it looks like one of the better pre owned gown sites...Cant hurt to ask, right?

good idea, surfgirl! I live by the words "it doesn''t hurt to ask!"

just wish i could get rid of the shower favors- 15 sets of sea shaped soaps in ORANGE. i bought them from an eBay vendor, and they''re not returnable

http://www.indiebride.com/trousseau/index.html

It now costs ten bucks to list the dress. Indie bride is a popular site that seems to get alot of traffic. Bridesmaid''s dresses are included in the "trousseau". Good luck...Orange may not be a popular choice, but you never know.
