I'm not sure if this is ok to post here or not so please let me know if it needs to be removed! I used to be a very active Pricescoper and was on here daily. Now I don't have much time for it (or the funds for any new jewelry). I'm considering selling my beautiful 5-stone ring but since I've been out of the loop, I have no idea what a fair price would be to list it for. The ring was purchased from ID Jewelry. It's white gold, 1.0 carat total weight, with "Pricescope quality" upgraded round diamonds (excellent cut, F/G in color, SI/VS in clarity). The setting has a low profile. Let me know what you suggest.

Depending on what you paid for it when you purchased, diamond prices may have come down a little bit, so just be aware if you use your ‘purchase price minus 15-20%’ approach, you may still be on par with current retail pricing, which isn’t reasonable most likely given it’s pre-owned/loved. But I’d say start with that and see what kind of interest you get, and adjust accordingly from there.

I’m interested! I’ve been waiting for one to pop up. Can you provide some pictures?

I might be interested. What size is it?

Hi there! It is a size 4.5 I believe. I will double check. I know it can be resized. I will take some pictures today and post them later for you!

Lol I know you needed help pricing it out, but do you know what you want to get for it?

Much too small for me, I'm afraid. I wouldn't want to size it up to an 8 or 8 1/2.

Kindred, that does seem to be risky to size up that much so I totally understand. And prinsad, is there a way for us to PM about pricing? Or can I share my email address here?

Here are a few pics. Sorry for the terrible quality! Let me know if you have any tips for getting better photos.

Oh I like it! Loupetroop would probably work! I’ll put up a contact listing!

Prinsad message sent!

Are you sure its only 1 carat? The stones look bigger to me but maybe its because of your small fingers.
For reference, this is my 1.4ctw - 7 stone (so same size stones as yours) but its a size 7. Like I said, could
be the finger size that's throwing me off.

Gorgeous! I think 70 percent of your cost would be a starting point! Be careful not to get lowballed as a 5 stone ring is a classic. I bought mine years ago and the price on it has more than. I’m glad I didn’t sell it. Also. I think it’s bigger than 1 carat. Looks to be at least a 1.25. Maybe get a quick appraisal before you sell it! Would help in getting you top dollar for highly desired ring. Good luck!

Beautiful ring!! Hope it will find a new home with a fellow PS'er.

Agree completely! It’s out of my budget (which I figured) but I also told her not to negotiate too low.

I would say $1500.

Thanks ladies! I know that I purchased a 1 carat ring but it definitely has a nice presence because of the small finger size and high quality stones. And thank you for your opinion on the pricing scarsmum. I had initially thought of listing it close to $2k but it's good to know that might be too high. I don't think I want to go as low as $1500 since I'm having a hard time letting it go to begin with. I will think on this more and then decide what to do. Thanks all!

Very similarly this ring on idj with 1.25 ct in white gold is $1850 right now. Fyi

Wow, this is gorgeous! I'm interested. What did you end up settling on?

That is for the stock band without upgraded stones.

At this point I'm leaning towards keeping it. But I will post again if it ends up for sale! :)
