I''m really feeling like my dress is too simple and I want to jazz it up with a pair of jeweled shoes. I haven''t found a pair that speaks to me but I''ll post what I''ve got in mind, along with my dress so you can see the jewelry and brooch I''m wearing. I''m looking at silver shoes but white would work too--they just have to be high heels so I can make up the 11" height difference btwn FI and myself!

If you''ve seen any shoes <$100 that fit this description, please post ''em! I''ve been looking all over the internet. [Sorry I have to post them one at a time...]

Too expensive but very close to what I have in mind for the look.

not sure about the lace up...

another one...

Best match so far for the price...but I think the rhinestones have too much black in that jewel piece...

This would be perfect if the jewel weren''t heart-shaped...

If I can''t find one with a jewel, I might just get one without, like these, and find some clip-earrings or even some "jewelry" specifically designed for shoes...

So far I like the 3rd shoe best. But if you think your dress is too simple, why not spice it up with bigger jewelry? Earings or a neckless?

I agree, jewelry can add a lot. I can also totally relate to your problem. I am 5''1" and FI is 6". Argg...and I am SUCH a baby when it comes to painful shoes. So if you find some, let me know!

Thanks Sunkist--any suggestions? I''ve got earrings and necklace already but they are pretty dainty and don''t *pop*.

I might also get my seamstress to add some extra fabric decoration at the top of the dress, to draw the eye up. When I tried on the dress initially, I thought the dropped waist was so flattering but I''ve since changed my mind about that...

honestly though once you have on your veil/make-up/flowers I think you will look great. I do not think your dress is too simple, I think it is classic and elegant. The xoxo shoes looks like they would be more comfortable.

Have you checked Nordstrom''s Bridal Shoes? They have several options for under 100$ and they tend to carry nice things. Nordstom''s Bridal Shoes!

I have these in black (from anothor Nordies brand) and they are super comfy!

Okay I just ADORE your dress, I dont think it is too plain just not overdone. I am looking for shoes that will highlight the little dodad at your waist, do you have a close up of it (looks like a flower)?
I thought these were cute Flower Shoes 3" heel

Thanks Tacori and Matatora...you''re lifting my spirits!!

Oooohhh I love those gold chinese laundry heels!!

Here''s a pic of the brooch at the waist:

It''s silver with pearls but the silver is so sparkly that it looks like there''s also rhinestones. I also thought that some shoe jewelry to complement the brooch would be good. Actually, the brooch is Bandolino so I should check out their shoes online. ALso Nordies! Thanks!!

I have the Chinese Laundry ones that Matatora posted. I love them so much that I bought 2 pairs--black and bronze. They are extremely comfortable and they have a great heel. Silver ones would look great with your dress!
