Need some help/info on how house selling goes.....

Anyway....We just sold our house (WOO HOO) however, I am SO confused how this finalization thing works. If anybody has been through it or knows what happens fill me in please!

We officially give possession over on Sept. 1. Now, our morgatge is due on the 1st. it is direct debited from our account, SO will the money from the house be put into our account, will we get a check... what happens? Basically what I think I want to ask is will I have moeny in hand on Sept. 1 or is there a lot of BS that goes with all of this stuff. I''m SO confused, can you tell?

Irish - House buying/selling varies widely by county and even by state. I am a real estate agent but can only give you information on how the process works in Illinois (and the chances of you being from IL are pretty slim, LOL!). My best advice to you is to contact your attorney or real estate agent and ask them the specifics on your transaction.
