Yeah, it doesn''t look like much fun, but I love that it only accomodates pets up to 7 lbs! I guess that''s the whole "teacup" thing of the uber-rich.

My cats are around 12 pounds!

i totally missed the 7 lbs thing...that''s hilarious because westies are 16-25 lbs! not remotely near 7. so it''s funny they chose to use westies in their ad considering that you can''t buy one for a westie without it looking all cramped, which is probably WHY it looks so darn weird with the big 16 lb dogs in it!! that size would be good for a yorkie which are like 5-10 lbs i think.

Seriously, things like this really appeal to me, just as little cute doggie purses do (in which I would carry around my "imaginary" shoe-size dog), because they are A-FREAKIN''-DORABLE!!! However, I would rather spend $5k on jewelry rather than on my little shoe dog.

I love Miss Maya, my chessie pup, and she has tons of goodies and very chic leads and collars, but no way...plus she is too big by a long shot!!! If you get this, you have too much money/not enough to keep you busy. Better on jewelry, an Hermes bag or the SPCA!!!

I have found that the pet''s enjoyment of the bed has an inverse relationship with the amount of money you spend on it... My cats have a few $30 fleece cat beds but they much prefer to sleep on a blanket on the back of the couch or the floor pillows I got on sale or even a paper shopping bag. My family dog didn''t like her $100 fleece dog bed but LOVED her cardboard box with a pillow in the bottom.

Ugh, one of my rabbits is bigger than that!....
My FG and one of my cats fight over the pet bed, the other cat and 2 rabbits like to sleep wherever I am sitting.

I would be rich indeed if I could have back all the money I have spent on luxurious beds and toys for the cats over the years! Radiator beds, fleecy beds, cosybeds have all been sniffed and treated with disdain, while the old shoe or cardboard box is treated as if it is the last word in luxury by discerning felines....

I will never understand cats - bless ''em!

I was thinking about this last night and forgot to mention my cat''s FAVORITE bed. It''s an antique chair I bought off craigslist for $15. Probably 100 years old. I loved the burnished wooden arms but I needed to get it reupholstered and it''s a little rickety when you sit in it, so I just put it in a corner in my bedroom and Lucy adopted it. The velvet is now covered in cat hair and she treats it like her throne for the princess she knows she is. I''m still tempted to get it fixed up, but only with some sort of cat-hair-friendly fabric because I doubt she''d ever let me have it back. Best $15 I ever spent on those cats.

i asked Zoe the same thing and she passed. She is getting a new dog bed from LL Bean though, does Demon Dog need one of those?

The scariest thing to me about that is that someone actually is going to buy one of those things! People are crazy!
Now don''t get me wrong, I love my dogs, but they''re a bit claustraphobic, I think that glass case might send them into a panic attack, oh, and they prefer much more rugged outdoor seating (I know I"ve posted this picture before, but I couldn''t resist!!)
