Saving up for a new project, so trying to pass along stones that might be better appreciated by another PSer! Most of these were LT buys from established PSers, and I hope they find good new homes.

Measurements were done with digital calipers and a mg scale, calibrated to the best of my ability. I'll make a LT listing for contact as soon as I'm done here! Shipping (tracked and insured) is included within the US; I may need to pass along the shipping cost if you're international, and since I don't have experience shipping internationally please get in touch with some instructions & reassurance. :)

Round precision-cut (Jeff Davies) pink-raspberry spinel. Doesn't shift very much despite lighting; I've tried to catch its "moods" here. 1.145ct, 6.55 x 6.57 x 4.27mm: should fit stock settings. Thought it was completely clean until I took these pictures & lo and behold it does have some typical spinel inclusions which are highlighted in the loupe pic. It doesn't do the "pink spinel glow" except in glamour-shot lighting, but it is a pretty consistent raspberry color and I haven't seen it brown out. It does fluoresce hot pink under UV! Asking $300.

Least flattering loupe image ever:

And what I really see:

Yellow-green chrysoberyl, 1.555ct, 8.03 x 6.02 x 4.09mm. Slightly sleepy or "oily" -- this is the only chrysoberyl I've ever seen in person, so I"m not sure if this is typical, but it does have a lovely sleepy glow, even in lower lighting! Loupe-clean, though my loupe skills are not amazing. Should fit stock settings. Asking $200.

Blue-grey color-shift spinel, with precision-style cutting although has a small window. 3.065ct, 8.26 x 8.28 x 5.35mm. Not knock-your-socks-off saturated, but a pretty color with the expected shift to violet under incandescent light. Also loupe-clean. I'd always planned to set it in rose gold, which I think would set off the color beautifully! Asking $400.

eta: ugh, sorry, some of these pictures are kinda blurry. :) Happy to take more if you'd like!

Sleepy magenta-pink sapphire, represented as unheated/untreated to its original owner, though not lab-confirmed. 2.125ct, 8.6 x 6.3 x 4.57mm. From Winza, Tanzania. An interesting melange of inclusions makes this sapphire glow. It has a slightly pink-orange cast in some lights, and more toward purple in others. It does fluoresce red under UV light. The window you see in the loupe shot (which also represents its least flattering lighting, poor thing, and makes it look less saturated than it really is) is really difficult to notice when the stone isn't backlit, in part because of the sleepiness. Asking $200.

Pear spinel, orange-pink but a tendency toward mauve in certain lights, as many of these stones have. 10.10 x 6.55mm, 1.880ct, so the cutter did trade windowlessness (which it does not have!) for face-up size (which it does quite nicely for a 1.88ct!). There are also some typical spinel inclusions. The loupe shot is closest to its usual color. ETA: Also, it does fluoresce under UV light. Asking $150.

Deeply saturated magenta/raspberry tourmaline with an interesting cut, more toward a radiant-style pavilion than the typical native cut. 7.22 x 5.19 x 3.83mm, 0.89ct, should fit most 5x7 stock settings. Another one where I didn't appreciate the window until backlighting it for the loupe shot; it is loupe-clean inasmuch as I couldn't see the tiny inclusions with my eyes & the loupe, just on the camera + loupe shot. :) ETA: The middle picture is most typical, as far as color tone. Asking $75.

Garnet (not sure of the specific type of garnet), brownish orange-red, with beautiful precision cutting. 1.485ct, 8.58 x 4.46 x 3.87mm. No window, shifts redder/orangier in some lights. Just a color I never could wear. :) Asking $50.

Love these photos - artistic as well as great subjects.

There have been multiple reports that LoupeTroop messaging does not work lately. Folks have been adding their email addresses to the listings. May I call dibs on the round spinel and garnet?

urseberry, they're yours! My email address is in the listing in the second-to-last paragraph (I was sneaky & didn't write it out with an @ sign so might have been easily missed if you were scanning quickly). :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

Minous, thanks for your kind words!! I loved the way they looked on medium-gray, like little shiny gumdrops. I briefly entertained an idea of setting them all in an enormous weird gray pendant and thankfully discarded that idea as fanciful. :loopy:

Bump with a new photo of the 4 that are still available!
