I purchased a setting that I am unable to return to the jeweler. This setting has never been worn and to be honest, I don't know too many details of it yet, because I haven't even seen it yet. It is a platinum setting in size 6. Retails for $3800 from their store.

I do know that I need to sell it though. This is a direct link to the setting:

It's basically what they call a twist on their classic mulberry design which can be seen here as an example:

The main difference being that it is has the pavé diamonds all along it. All reasonable offers will be considered.

OP, you can return this. Please don't accept that you cannot return it before it's even finished yet!

Please double check if you can return it.

People only buy settings seccond hand when they are looking for a killer deal -- otherwise it usually is better to just get a jewler to make you a custom setting the perfectly fits your stone and asthetic requirements. There are a lot of custom settings for less than 3800 even with pave. So you are likely to really lose out on this transaction.

@lovedogs As mentioned in the other thread, thank you for your suggestions and help.

The owner of enchanted has agreed to allow this to be returned. I'm so very glad because, yes, I started to sign up for all of the websites like... ididandnowidont, loupetroop and diamondbistro and was definitely not looking forward to it.

Yay! Now when you return it, see if you are able to request a prepaid label from Enchanted. You may have to pay for this, but it is well worth it as it should also include insurance. Please ask because you do not want to be shipped through the USPS without insurance. When I sent my e-ring to a recommended vendor to have another stone placed I requested a prepaid shipping label with insurance and paid for the label. This was far more convenient and safe way to ship my precious e-ring.

I'm not sure if you're getting rid of your ring because the proposal didn't work out, but if that's the case, then my condolences. :blackeye:
