New 2.6 ct red spinel

Recently purchased this spinel from a collector. Has a nice color, tone and saturation, good luster and a good cut. No window. Getting harder to find really nice spinels and price just keeps climbing. Wish I had bought more years ago when price was very low. I missed out on this blue 5.2 ct Luc Yen spinel because I hesitated too much and now I'm kicking myself in the you know where. It was expensive and I didn't think it would go that fast.

Yes I received it. That pic is a capture from a video I did. For what ever reason video on my phone seems to capture the color correctly compared to photo mode.

I agree. The color caught my eye and how the emerald cut seem to showcase the color. Been traveling and won’t be home until next week, but what I recall is ballpark 9x7. Looking at so many stones and the numbers begin to run together. Will check when I get back home.
