After a few months of searching, I received my new studs on Thursday. Despite having test driven some CZs at the same size, my first reaction was that they were too big. I had basically the same size studs (~6.2mm) for the previous 6 years so it was a shock. But I'm adjusting. It does point out how awkwardly one of my ears is pierced, but that is a problem for another day.
Spec:
1.51 each
H SI1, eye clean
One of the stones has both AGS and GIA cert - it is definitely the same stone because the specs are the same and the mapping is the same. But interestingly the AGS says negligible florescence while the GIA says minor. It does light up under black light which is sort of fun. How could AGS miss that I wonder.
I'm not a great photographer so here are just a couple pictures... Apologies in advance for the ear shot, my hair was a bit unruly and this is the "bad ear" - very far off center.
