After a few months of searching, I received my new studs on Thursday. Despite having test driven some CZs at the same size, my first reaction was that they were too big. I had basically the same size studs (~6.2mm) for the previous 6 years so it was a shock. But I'm adjusting. It does point out how awkwardly one of my ears is pierced, but that is a problem for another day.

Spec:
1.51 each
H SI1, eye clean

One of the stones has both AGS and GIA cert - it is definitely the same stone because the specs are the same and the mapping is the same. But interestingly the AGS says negligible florescence while the GIA says minor. It does light up under black light which is sort of fun. How could AGS miss that I wonder.

I'm not a great photographer so here are just a couple pictures... Apologies in advance for the ear shot, my hair was a bit unruly and this is the "bad ear" - very far off center.

Lovely and blingy!! Congratulations!

Swoon!

I had that happen with one of my AGS diamonds too. They put fluoro was negligible but it lit up more than my faint fluoro stone.

They are lovely! I don't think they are too big for your ear - probably just an adjustment for your eye to make. I think you'll get used to them in no time!

Beautiful!!! They look great on you and I think you'll adjust to the size!!:appl:

Wow! They look amazing...and not too big IMO!

Negligible does not mean none. It just means not enough to be worth considering. The GIA report
says "Minor" under Fluorescence? I dont think I've seen that before. Can you post the GIA report
(you can block the GIA number out).

Thank you all for the comments!

Sorry, the GIA said Faint. It was late and I was lazy, I didn't look it up - I knew it was something minimal. I don't mind it at all, but it sure glowed a lot, so I wasn't sure how AGS graded it low and also how much brighter other stones would be if this is faint.

My ENT has a plastic surgeon attached, so when I went for my allergy shots I made an appointment to see what it would take to close the wonky piercing and put in a new one.

Perfection! Enjoy your new sparklies :)

I had a stretched hole surgically closed and then had it repierced 6 months later. It's still not great. I think genetically I just have rubbery ear lobes that just wont support studs very well. I've pretty
much given up on studs and gone to hoops. Your lucky its just a wonky piercing...remember you
cant wear any earrings why they are healing so wait a while and enjoy your new studs a bit!

Wow!!!:love::love: Very beautiful, they look great on you, they're the perfect size imo! :appl:

Fantastic! I'm not sure I could carry that size but I guess I could get used to it!

Beautiful pair! congrats!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for all of the kind words.

I went to the doctor and he said it was so far off, and I have big enough lobes that he could just give me another piercing, which he did. He was able to use my earring in the new piercing so no down time away from the bling. It looks generally in a better place, although it has to be very loose for now so it is a little droopy.

Congrats on the new studs! I think the size looks great. I'm glad they were able to redo the piercing on the side you didn't like. Enjoy your new bling!!

Gorgeous Studs!! The actually fit your lobes perfectly. Right smack dab in the middle. They look lovely on you!!:appl:

My studs are 1.20 each I'm happy to trade

Very nice! Congratulations - enjoy your beautiful studs.
