Hello all,
Long time lurker here who is really regretting randomly running her fingers over the keyboard when finally making an account instead of making up an using an actual username - but I never intended to post...
My husband recently gifted me a beautiful French pave full eternity band for our 5 year wedding anniversary and I'm trying to figure out how best to wear it. I was intending on wearing it alone with my wedding band (Cartier Trinity xxs). I've always LOVED the look of the Cartier Trinity stacked with an eternity band, especially for everyday wear. I don't usually wear my engagement ring for daily errands nor at home, especially since the pandemic, but wanted to switch up the plain wedding band look a little.
However, now I'm feeling a little guilty about letting my e-ring get boxed out of the equation (which is maybe silly since I wasn't wearing it at home anyway...). I was even considering having it reset into a plain band so I could wear all three together, because the micropavé just can't compete with the eternity. BUT I absolutely love my wedding ring & e-ring together, and don't love the idea of losing that combination. I'm still vaguely open to resetting the e-ring, maybe into a pave rather than micropave?
So far I've been wearing the eternity on my right hand ring finger, I'm waiting for a spacer band to arrive because I don't want my wedding ring getting all scratched up. I don't hate it on the right hand, but am having a signet ring made for my right pinky and don't really want to wear them next to each other...
Gah. I feel silly even thinking about this so much, but am hoping you can relate to the "problem" of wanting to wear all your favorite pieces as much as possible
Any thoughts & suggestions would be appreciated!! Do you switch up your ring combinations daily? Would love to hear how you've incorporated anniversary bands!
