Thanks so much! I sourced the stone online from DCD and was able to view it in advance in NYC (where I work). She did want a cushion. She chose the setting on her own - I just saw it for the first time today. The setting design is Whitehouse Bros. from Ohio - we bought the setting and had it set at a local jeweler here in NJ. She has waited a long time for this ring - we were young and broke when we married and she has worn just a gold band all of these years. After three kids and putting up with me I think she deserved it!

Depth - 63.3%
Table - 56%
Polish - VG
Symmetry - G
Faint Flour.

The setting was designed by Whitehouse Bros. out of Ohio.

Beautiful stone ! There are lots of slightly different cuts allcalled 'cushion' and yours has a very distinctive look (close to an Old European cut ?) - which is a good thing for me. Surely the large size and high grades can't hurt the overall impression either
