New diamond earrings /old diamonds - love them!

Hi friends -
I picked up my diamond earrings today from our jeweler! These were the previous side stones from my three stone ER that I traded in. My original ring and the new little studs are posted below. I was afraid they would look too small, but I think they are a nice size.

Thoughts?

Diamonds Direct allowed us to keep these stones and set them for us at no additional cost. We did purchase a new diamond and setting, so I guess it's the least they could've done

I don't have full specs but the diamonds are aprrox. 1/4 carat each/ H/ VS2 (I never had the side stones certified).

In the box - I'll take more pictures in the daylight with the macro tomorrow ...

Thank you!!! You guys have no idea how awful I've been feeling about my spotted appearance. I considered editing my acne, but these are simple Iphone shots ... I thought it would be foolish.

I am not sure on all specs, but they are just at 1/4 carat each ... I honestly expected them to look much smaller!

I dont think I would have noticed any acne if you hadnt pointed it out My little guy is 9 months and for some reason my face started breaking out AWFUL about a month ago I wonder if its bc we have small kids (hormones?). I just started prescription retina-A....I thought they had pulled Accutane from the market...I heard it was causing Crohn's. I certainly could be wrong though. Anyways, love the sparklers!!!

That's funny - our little guy is 18 months ... I neveer had problems either until after I had him. It is def horomones. My doc said he wanted to cut to the chase and use Accutane. There are many warnings, but it's still considered safe. The Crohn's matter has not been proven yet (according to doc). He felt it was more of a money making tactic by big lawyers than anything. My husband took it when we first married and it did wonders for his skin .... Hoping bad side effects stay away

Gorgeous studs, Acrossley, and I think they're a perfect size! Honestly, they're great by themselves for everyday wear, but you can always add halos, or removable pearl drops some time down the road for a different look. I have .50ctw studs too, and use them in one of those options nearly every single day.

On a side note, I miss Publix! We shopped there almost exclusively when I was growing up, but they don't have them in N. VA.

I really want to to add accessory pieces to them! I originally had planned on keeping my ER diamond and just resetting ... once I decided to upgrade the diamond, the earrings had to suffer for the cause I am hoping I'll get jackets as a future anniversary gift

I'd love to see yours in the halos/ pearls ... do you have a thread?

I LOVE Publix! Their BOGO deals are unbeatable ... I saved $40 yesterday in deals/ coupons and paid $80. I know many surpass me by miles on the couponing, but Publix really makes it easy! Hope you get one soon!

I don't think I have a separate thread for the pearl jackets, but I'll attach a pic. These were inexpensive ebay pearl earrings, and I just clipped the post earring off - the chain already had the jump ring attached. I've since had the chain shortened just a bit, so they're not hitting me every time I turn my head, lol. The studs they're pictured with are not my 1/4ct OECs, but are just a tad bigger at 5mm.

I especially love the jackets .... Studs are my go to with my 18 month old, so I'd love to dress them up while keeping my ears safe from small hands
