Planning on proposing in Central Park next week...we''re both from NY and I think it would be ideal. Although we''re probably going to freeze our tails off! I can''t wait.

It''s really beautiful! I love the size of the center stone in proportion to the band- the stone really "pops"!

I don''t think you have anything to worry about in regard to her not loving it, but she might get frostbite because she''s not going to want to wear a glove over that beauty

That is actually the setting I am currently contemplating for my ring.

Wish you the best of luck! Prospect park sounds very romantic and I don't think she will care at that moment how freezing it will be. Hopefully the Transit strike won't be a bummer.

Thank you all for you lovely comments on my e-ring....however, after agonizing all night I''ve decided to make a slight change to the ring. The diamond is actually a rectangular modified but the jeweler set it so that the longer side is parallel with the setting instead of lenghwise like an emerald cut would be mounted. I couldn''t give it to her without it being the exact way I and I believe she would like it.
Therefore I took it back today and the jeweler is going to have a custom head made so it can be mounted that way....it''s a little more $ but I think it''ll be worth it.

Okay some of you asked for more pics so here I go....keep in mind that as I right this the ring is with jeweler who is going to make a custom head for the setting for the reason I mentioned in an earlier post. I''m hoping it will look even better!

Oh I made a typo with the color of the Diamond, it''s actually an E Color stone.
