New Heliodor with Pics!!

Here are the pics of my Heliodor I picked up in Murfreesburo AR.

The stone is PURE YELLOW in natural light. In darker lighting (like evening shadows) it seems to glow, and has a slight green hue. In the sun, the light glows inside of it and it has a bright yellow sheen. Its very cool! ETA the pics in the shade seem to slow green with my camera, but it is pure yellow in all lights except dark shadows. Weird how when I want it to show green it won't, but when I don't, it does. Hmm....

I will take a sun shot in the morning. It is getting dark now.

49.9cts, COMPLETELY eye clean, only one small feather (2mm) under a loup.

Loving the indirect lighting on that honker of a stone...what a great find! Sorry you didn't find any diamonds, but sounds like it was a fun trip.
