hey everyone..
i''ve been hanging around here for awhile. now that i know my engagement is coming soon, i guess i''ll start to post. my BF and i have been dating for 3 years (well, three years tomorrow..). a couple of weeks ago we went shopping, seperately, for b-day/anniversary gifts. my mom gave it away right away when i came home, she blurted out that my BF came over and talked to my dad "about college stuff". yeah right! then two days later he had to come home from college and pick up my gift, which he swore his mother couldn''t get. he kicked me out of his house early that night so he could talk to his parents about "troubles his brother was having". i don''t know what to do!! i know he got me a ring and i know that we''re planning to go out on saturday and celebrate our anniversary. i''ve been really good about not letting him know that i know, but it''s been 3 weeks and i can''t take it any more! i have the next two days off school, along with today, and i think i''m going to drive myself nuts with anticipation. my best friend (who''s a guy) is the only one i''ve told of my suspicions. can anyone help me!?!

If i were you I would go get a manicure, get your eyebrows done, buy a cute outfit...... But these are all the things i am doing before i get my ring this weekend! Congrats! And i hope it turns out the way you want!

get a massage, have some wine, chew on some gum! You only have a couple more days to hold it in...stay strong!

thanks for the advice, but i don''t know if it will help now... i just visited my BF today and he''s really sick. they doctor at the college thinks he has gallstones

and he''s definately starting to turn yellow. tomorrow he''s coming home so he can go to the hospital, where he''ll probably have to have sugery. there goes our anniversary, our weekend, and my birthday.. i wish there was some way i could make him feel better..

what can i do? if he''s in the hospital all weekend, then i don''t know what i can do to make our anniversary special..

oh no! I hope your boyfriend is OK! I''m sure will be fine, but gallstones can''t be fun! Poor guy! So sorry that this happened! And at such a bad time! Have no fear though, when its meant to happen, it will! Just be there for him while he''s sick

Oooh, I''m sorry to hear about your bf being sick! What horrible timing! But I hope his surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery....then you can properly celebrate your anniversary! Very exciting about the upcoming engagement. I agree with the other girls, spend a day at the spa pampering yourself so you look awesome, and get that digital camera ready for us
