New... here''s my e-ring!

My hubby proposed last May, and we were married on April 26. I've lurked around, so I know that it's normal to post stats, but I don't know them!

All I know is that a few months before the wedding, he brought up the topic of getting an upgrade soon, so I found this place! I have got to say that I think everyone has such gorgeous rings! I would say I'm totally jealous, but I know that it's only a matter of time before I get something that can even compare. Hahah.

Anyways, here is the ring he gave to me:

I quite like your ring! I know it doesn't have a ginormous center stone, but it has lots of bling going on. It almost has a 'vintage' look to it . . . and baguettes (those are baguettes on the side?) are always wonderful as far as I'm concerned!

If finding a band to fit/go with proves to be a challenge, you could move it to your RH (it would make a great RHR) and buy a stand alone w-band.

It's really very lovely; enjoy!

Thank you! I loved the vintage feel to it - I think that''s why he chose it.

And honestly, I really was worried about finding a band to fit with it, but I realized that if we do upgrade, the band I use can go with that and we can get an eternity band for an anniversary a few years from now. So my current band is just a 2mm white gold band with no accents. It looks really pathetic when I wear it alone, so I''m wearing them together until something that fits more comes along. Then the first e-ring will be worn on my right hand.

motown - The band doesn''t fit flush. The e-ring has a curve that would have needed a special-made wedding band and I didn''t want to mess with that. So I ended up getting a band that would match a simple solitaire or something a little more ornate.

Thanks, everyone!! After a year of wearing it (I can''t believe it HAS been a year), I really can''t imagine breaking it down into something else. I keep telling DH that when we do upgrade, I''ll keep this one to hand down. Eventually, it can become a classic heirloom for our great-grandkids to enjoy!

I do remember going through phases where I didn''t think it was good enough and I hated myself for it. I was very lucky to even get this and I feel blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I guess it''s just something we go through...
