We adopted a new baby yesterday from our local animal shelter. She is the sweetest little angel baby ever!

We named her Mina because she has "vampire eyes" and we thought the Dracula reference would be appopriate this close to Halloween.

Thank you all! She and Dylan (dog) are destined to become friends. We lost our kitty to old age (12) about 6 months ago, so we were ready for a new feline love.

My husband and I have adopted every animal we''ve owned. They are the best pets! I swear they know you saved their lives and they are such sweet and dedicated pets.

What a sweetie pie and so wonderful that she is a rescue

She looks a lot like our Oliver did when we brought him home - just a tiny, wispy thing with pointed coloring and lovely blue eyes. I''ll be really interested to see how she grows - Ollie came home at about that size/age around this time last year, and is now a strapping 14+ lb enormously furry ragdoll-like kitty with an insane long fluffy tail (see the Ragdoll thread for pics). You must post updates as she grows up!
