Hi! I''ve been lurking for a while and absolutely adore this site. I am excited that I can finally sort of be a lady in waiting :) My BF and I have recently started talking about possibly getting engaged within the year. I hinted that if he wanted to get a ring he should talk to my mother (she is going to find out from me what I want ;) ) I was wondering.. has anyone seen any rings that are sort of floral inspired? I''m not sure I can actually articulate what I''m looking for but there are a couple of rings by mark schneider (adore and mesmerize) or the calla cut rings that are somewhat what I am looking for. I guess floral inspired side stones? the rings previously mentioned are not exactly what I am looking for, but are something like it. Anyone have any pictures with rings sort of like these?

Check out Choro72's ring--it's flower inspired and gorgeous!

Also, I'd check out Green Lake Jewelers--they do a lot of nature-inspired stuff.

Oooh, I had a ring that I had saved for AGES with calla side stones! Let me see if I can find it for you!

Oh, and welcome!

Also look at van craeynest in SF.

I believe there are quite a few SMTR (Show Me The Ring) threads with pictures of them.

Here''s the setting. Don''t remember offhand where I found it, but if you fall in love with it, I can keep searching for it.

purelily, this is a picture of my engagement ring. I can show you more if you would like.

Meanwhile, here is another website I suggest you look at for ideas. I got a lot of my inspiration from that site.

Someone had just posted a cluster ring in the SMYR area. I can''t find it but it was something like this. Its a little different than what you are looking for, but looks like a flower lol

Saturn Jewels settings have a bit of a floral look to them: this Chanel ring at Signed Pieces may be too floral for what you have in mind, but struck me as too perfect for this thread to pass up.

Thanks for all your help! Al the rings are really pretty! I looked at the Calla Cut diamonds those are something along the lines of what I was looking for but I''m not sure I''m really excited about butterflies :) I''m thinking something simple and less ornate than saturn jewels? I really like marquise side stones in the shape of leaves? :-p there'' used to be a tiffany''s setting that had an aquamarine with leaves, but I guess they dont make that anymore. i LOVEd that setting though

Thumbelina''s ring from Vatche is from the Alexa line. I think it is floral and beautiful.

Try doing a search for Harriet''s tsavorite...it has side stones that kind of look like leaves.

Purelily Check out Simon G as he also does some slightly floral rings... Very similar, but not calla cut diamonds and no butterflies!

You're welcome, Choro. I love your ring--it's one of my favorites on PS!
