Might appeal to their customer base but the cost would be outrageous I am sure! Not something for the masses in my opinion.
 
All I can think of is what a waste of diamond. So much cut away for such an ultra specialty cut that is going to be marked up like crazy. (Or am I wrong?)

Looks like a princess cut with some bulging/flaring at the corners. Probably not a whole lot of extra rough taken away.
 
I like it!! I think that cut would look great in any number of settings - my first thought was studs with a Tiffany Victoria-style vibe.

But yeah I'm sure the markup is going to be insane :lol:, it will be interesting to see how this goes!
 
I don’t think these settings do anything to enhance their trademark LV star cut. I think if they shifted the orientation of the stone 45 degrees it would be prettier. Right now all I see is a skinny marquise looking stone because the two horizontal “corners” of the center stone blend into the diamonds on the band.B2A1240A-2C8C-4E2B-A2D3-03B56E020A83.jpeg

Ugh these stones are cool but the designs that LV has picked are awful! There was so much scope, too.
 
I can see the appeal, much like the Mont Blanc one they did for their pen.
but, not for me.

Saw a LV advert in a wedding magazine this month featuring this cut in more settings. A no for me.
 
They look cool but I feel a little conflicted about them. I get putting their logo on wallets, bags, etc… but as diamond jewelry I feel eh about it.
