I just posted for the first time in another thread. I realize that I should have posted with photos. I just got a 2.5 carat upgrade ring with a 1.5 carat center princess cut diamond. I am very pleased with it. I know all about it except for the quality of cut. I gave my measurements in the other post of 6.55MM x 6.25 MM and 4.55 MM deep. Its 72.8% depth percentage and 78% table percentage with a thin to thick girdle and none on the cutlet. Its a VS1 and an H color. I was told that princess cut stones really cannot be judged by numbers. I am posting a photo of my 3.25 carat earrings too. they are SI2 and an H. To me the ring is so much prettier and shines alot more. The cut of the table is much different on the ring. One of my photos shows a really good shot of the table. To me, it has more of a rounded cut on the top compared to the earrings and most other princess cut diamonds that I have seen. Could this be the reason for it shining so much more? I noticed the brilliance of it right away when i got it, especially when comparing it to my earrings.
