New Seller is Not Me!

For several years now, I have sold under an abbreviation of my PS username MBijoux. There is a new seller that goes by BMBijoux on LT and DB. Please do not think this seller is me! Those who know me know I would not be selling any synthetic stones but just wanted everyone else to know it as well

I just saw that, I wonder if they are a scammer or fake, someone popped up on here the other day with Asian writing selling stuff and their handle was 12arkieb or something similar which isn't me either, but close enough that I know they have ripped off my name, both of our screen names are not common names.

I noticed there have been several "copycat" monikers selling on LT and DB these past few weeks.... A good reminder to be extra careful!!

Is there something else to be done about it? Alarming to hear that its also happened to Arkieb and possibly others. Is it worth putting something on LT and DB disavowing any connection or something like that?

I just wish LoupeTroop could have been PS members only. It is troublesome getting through all the stuff posted by vendors and others now.

It completely sucks - this is what they are relying on and they are either scammers or people selling cheap CZs and "created" gemstones for high prices hoping to snag customers by using the goodwill that comes with known members screen names.

I reported the fake me that appeared on here, but I'm not sure what can be done on DB and LT.

I think the best thing you can do is cross check the item in the PS Preloved section.
And sellers should remember to post the link here.

I do agree the site can get really congested when 'vendors' choose to list their inventory.....

I check both sites regularly and have found others that were familiar but the name was a little off. I would think that the administrators of the sites would be able to remove those listings. My goodness, DB has a heart attack if you use all CAPS. I think it is a good idea to check preloved and if you are someone that uses a different db or lt screen name you could make note in your post

Agreed. I know of at least one colored stone vendor that has over 50 listings on LT.
