New setting for my RB!!

Hi Everyone:

I finally have my new e-ring setting on my finger. My honey and I bought the diamond many years ago - long before I found pricescope. Hard to believe we''ve been married 16 years - it just doesn''t seem possible! The stone''s an uncertified round brilliant, 1.08 carats, G VS1. I don''t know any of the other stats. The new setting is a knock-off of a Saturn design in a size 7. Both the diamond and setting are from Barmakian Brothers in Boston. I don''t plan on wearing a wedding band with it - just some kind of a yummy right hand ring (any ideas?!).

Sorry, the pictures aren''t the greatest... I so admire all the amazing pictures I see here...

Belle - not sure what I''m looking for in a rhr. Probably something antiquish in keeping with the style of the e-ring to make it look more like a set. Maybe just a pave band with some engraving on the sides?

Firegoddess - you are too funny! Yes, Saturn does have some beautiful settings. I was lucky my vendor had this knock-off. In fact, they had this knock-off and the real saturn ring in the same case. They looked exactly the same except in the real Saturn, the spread of the 3 diamonds under the halo on either side were not quite as wide, and the diamonds in the setting were a VS1 instead of the SI1''s in the knock-off. I figure nothing''s perfect in life - so for half the price (!!), I figured my chunky size 7 finger could take the slightly larger ring... and no one will ever notice those naughty inclusions...

Lovely! It reminds me of my ring, an antique from 1929. I also have a ring of small diamonds around my center stone and marquises on the sides. Yours is very delicate.
