Hello girls. I am usually on the Knot, but one of the girls over there posted the link for this website and I decided to check it out. Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years now. In February, he was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. It wasn''t cancerous, but he did have to have surgery about a week after that to remove it. It''s 4 months later and he''s doing so much better, thank God. He''s walking so much better and now he''s allowed to drive. And in less than 2 months, he will be back to work for good. Plus, now he''s looking into going back to college (he never finished) to get his associates in business management.
We''d always talked about getting married. We knew we wanted to, but it''s always been a money issue. Well, this whole situation has made us realize we don''t want to keep waiting. He did ask me if I would marry him after his surgery, but nothing absolutely official. So, now we''ve been talking about getting married in October of 2007. But I am still waiting for him to officially ask me!
