New (well vintage) diamond band I scored on E-bay!

I just received a cute diamond band (.55 carats), vintage (circa 1950) , that looks pretty good next to my solitaire. Thought I would share it with you ladies. I told my husband he could use it as a stocking stuffer. Why is it that when you supposed to be shopping for others at this time of year, ya keep finding something for yourself? I just had it polished/cleaned, so thought I''d take some pics before I put it away. (Oh..I wanted to add, that I''m very happy with it for $112, considering the price of gold right now.) My jeweler told me it''s the HIGHEST it''s been in 30 years, so I figure why buy new..."new to me" is just as good! LOL

Thanks, I like the two rings together, I don''t want to spend a ton of $$ on a diamond band, since I will be changing the setting for my diamond, eventually in the new year. For now...they seem to go together quite well. I LOVE E-BAY!! LOL

I think you got the deal of the year. That''s a beautiful band and it looks fantastic with your diamond. I didn''t know you were planning to change your setting. With this band, the two together are wonderful -- maybe you will change your mind (yes, they look THAT good together!). Don''t tell anyone you got in on EBay. People will think you spent 10x that amount on it, and you probably would have at a B&M.

That looks like a really nice ring and it looks great w/ your e-ring and even if/after you change your setting it will be great to wear for those times when you don''t want to/can''t wear your e-ring but still want a little sparkle!
