New Year''s Blues

The good kind, luckily. The husband''s New Year''s gift to me is this lovely sapphire pendant - approximately a carat, surrounded by 1/4 ct. of diamonds. I love it, all the more so ''cause he picked it himself. Since he knows jewelry like I know tech (which is to say, he doesn''t), this is v. meaningful to me!

I think of it as The Princess Di look myself, and that just can''t be right ... thanks, too, for the compliments on the color. Between this and my little anniversary ring, I am reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally falling in love with sapphires.
