Hi all,
I’ve been a long-time lurker on Pricescope but mainly on the diamond boards to admire all the beautiful stones and pieces there.
I have been looking to purchase a sapphire something for a while, and I finally have an excuse with an upcoming milestone birthday in September!
I am looking to create a 3 stone ring, with a cushion sapphire as the centre stone and 2 round diamond side stones which are both approximately 0.50ct each.
My budget is approximately AUD$4-5000 and my Wishlist is:
Square cushion cut
Approximately 6-6.5mm x 6.5mm
Royal blue although I have also taken a liking to some cornflower blue stones (Am planning on a milligraine bezel setting
Unheated (although I recognise this may push some stones out of my price range and am also open to heated stones)
I have been doing a bit of reading with regards to what to look out for, but would be very appreciative for any pointers or gemstone sites that are reputable for a first-time purchaser. If anyone had any suggested stones, I would be very happy to check them out.
