Hello CS lovers, I have been thinking about making 5 stone ring for my anniversary. I need 2 sapphires for it and would love some advice as to where/who would be the best vendor/person to contact? I saw the list of vendors on the main page but was hoping that someone would guide me since I am looking for smaller but high quality sapphires. I am thinking that they would only need to be around 0.3 to 0.4 ct each.

I am looking more for the medium blue color range and lots of sparkle from the stones (if possible)!

Thank you in advance and please excuse my syntax since I am used to writing more on the diamond forum!

No idea of your budget but if you want high quality, excellent match, well cut, Wink Jones is who I'd go with.

Thank you!

Good luck! I'll just add that its a good idea to talk in mm size, not so much in carat weight, as there is not the same standard in colored stones as in diamonds. For the same weight, depending upon cut, colored stones can vary a lot in mm width, length and height.

Thank you @minousbijoux , I think 4 mm to 4.5 mm is probably good. I don't know how hard it will be to find a perfect match for 2 sapphires but my budget is $750. Would I be able to get some good quality sapphires with that budget?

The listed price is $848, but you can get 10% off as a first-time customer. Would be like $15 over budget with the 10% discount, but the quality is undeniable, and I believe it's the best value for what you are asking for.

Thank you for that find! I will definitely take a look at her site and at those sapphires!

These might be darker than what you are hoping for, the description says they are medium rich blue. There is a 20% off coupon right now too.

Thank you for linking this! The sapphires are a little darker than what I am thinking of. . . worried that once they are set, that they will look darker. Is that usually the case? Or are there ways to set sapphires or colored stones where they don't darken in color?
