Hi
I never thought i would venture into this section as I love earth mined diamonds . But the prices for labs are attractive . I may consider them for bigger stones or a tennis necklace .

Are all labs excellent/Ideal cuts ? Do they have inclusions ? Do they look the same when louped ? How does a jeweler know the difference between Earth mined/lab ?
What is their resale value ?

Most round LGDs are at least excellent cuts but it’s a case-by- case question. For cuts other than round there is no agreed upon scale.

Yes, most of them have at least something internally but a lot are pretty high clarity and they can be hard to find.

we have fancy/expensive tools for this.

Resale value is a matter of predicting the future, which is inherently foolish, but in the current market, assume a resale value of zero. If you turn out to do better, call it luck. Don’t bet on it.
