Hello Ladies,
I've been addicted to PS for the last few months, and I recently decided to break my lurking ways and participate!
A bit about me:
My hunny and I are just shy of our 3 year mark, and engagement has been on the agenda for the last year or so. So far, I haven't found patience too hard to come by since I'm able to focus on our home, my work, and our puppy. However, now that I know a ring is definitely in the works, I find myself fantasizing and squealing with delight (often at the least opportune moment).
There was even a time where I thought "Oh my gosh. THIS IS IT!!" It happened while we were at a waterfront restaurant in San Diego. He was smiling at me his most beautiful smile and stroking my hand with his. I noticed that his opposite hand was reaching into his pocket and he was pulling out a small black object, only to discover that it was his phone! I wasn't disappointed as much as I was embarrassed. My eyes were misty, my face bright red, and my heart was racing uncontrollably. Luckily, he didn't seem to notice, and we enjoyed our meal. After dinner, I told him about the emotional storm I was weathering during dinner, and we both ended up getting a good laugh out of it. That experience made me realize two things. 1.) I am most definitely a Lady in Waiting, and 2.) The wait for his proposal is going to be a 100x harder than I expected.
I appreciate you reading, and look forward to sharing with those in the same boat.
Cheers,
Sarai M.
