Sooooo... In my other post about why the BF and I fight so much it came up that we went to Niagara Falls last Saturday, so I thought I''d share some GOOD news about that.
In the midst of our fighting, we had planned to do a ''special date'' to celebrate that I was done my awful semester.
So, we drove out to Niagara Falls on Saturday and had quite a fun time. Stress-less and enjoyable. Pretty romantic too! We did a 4D moving theatre simulated ride thing, then went for dinner at Mama Mia''s a very home-y Italian place that I used to go to as a child with my family.
Some background info: for our anniversary last year we went to Niagara Falls and did a bunch of fun things, including the same restaurant and some tourist-y stuff, so we did the moving theatre that we didn''t get a chance to do and it was his idea to go back to the restaurant again.
Anyway, we had quite a deep talk during dinner about past relationships and hurts and how its changed us now and how its helped us to appreciate each other more. The conversation quickly turned to talks of marriage and after we had finished our meal I pried at him to tell me if we will be engaged before I am done school. Many school-friends have gotten engaged this year already and its been a huge deal when they come back to school with stories and rings and I know he knows I want that excitement. So, he asked me if I was *sure* I wanted to know, and I said yes, I had thought about it a lot.
And... he said YES! So, we will be engaged before my school year is up. So sometime next semester..... between January and May
Now, I may seem loopy considering I have been posting about our 10-day-fight... but it''s already getting better and so now I can be happy about this news
So anyway.. then we went to see the Festival of Lights, a light up display of Disney scenes! How cool is that! Perfect considering I am obsessed with Disney Princesses and want to get married at Disney Land
But the whole time I was thinking.. Engagement in T-5 months. Woo!
