Nicknames you call your SO!

Ok so we were just discussing in another thread how we introduce our boyfriends to people.

What about nicknames for them? The girls started mentioning it in the other thread and I thought, this topic deserves a thread all on its own!

So here is what I mainly call SO:

I mostly call him:
Pooh (long story short, he emailed me a photo of Winnie the Pooh years and years ago and signed the email love, your Pooh Bear)
and/or
Pooh Bear
The nickname for his name
other names are:
Monkey Butt
Big Person (cause he calls me "little person")

His full name when he is in trouble, or when he doesn''t listen to me, as well as when dinner is ready and he is in the other room.

And of course as you, other things when he makes me mad. lol

I never call him by his regular name, never have. It''s strange when I do. Same with him, he has nicknames for me and never refers to me by my name with the exception of when we talk about each other to other people. It''s so cute! I even asked him one day on if he thinks we will ever call each other by our names and he said no. lol

lol I KNOW! Oh dear, Im crazy. I just started laughing out loud thinking about it. But I sort of change my voice and make it real cute when I say it. (not as bad as when you talk to a little doggie or a baby though, not like that) So it works I guess, he likes it. lol He also says I have a "little voice" even though I can talk loud, it's a soft but higher tone sound. You should hear him try to imitate me talking. Its hilarious.

When I first met my SO, six years ago, we would talk on the phone for hours and one of our conversations was about nicknames. He said don’t ever call me babe, baby, or honey because I hate it.

I totally call him babe all the time. That’s his name “babe.” And if I call him by his name, he thinks he’s in trouble or something. LOL

Want to hear his nickname for me? Maleficent…the witch from sleeping beauty. Isn’t that mean!!! LOL…in his defense, if you saw my hair in the morning you’d probably call me the same.

Seriously, I forgot he calls me "Booñy," which is short for "buñelo." A Buñelo is a Colombian/South American pastry that you eat for breakfast--they are my favorite!

I call him ''Babe'' ALL the time...thats pretty much been his name since before we were even officially a couple lol. i almost NEVER use his REAL name and when i do he usually doesnt JUST get his 1st name but he get all 3 LOL. And those are the most common ones.

His newest for me would be:
Naughty Monkey (He named me thing way before he knew the shoe brand Naughty Monkey-since he learned about that, he's decided it's me to a T.)

I call him Doozers after the little Doozers on the old show Fraggle Rock. They were hard working construction workers and the Fraggles always ate their buildings... but the Doozers just kept on building!

Some of these are really funny!

What I call DH most often is "Pea". There''s an old redneck joke that a woman does everything around the house and doesn''t need any praise for it. But, a man empties an ashtray and he announces it.."Don''t worry about that ashtray in the living room, Sweet Pea, I done got it." So, Pea he''s been ever since.

And, actually, DH generally refers to me as "Beautiful" in text messages, on notes, answering the phone, around the house. That''s obviously self-explanatory (for some deluded mind, anyway.)

I call him Bumpty or Monkey. Usually Bumpty. I used to babysit a four year old and he used to call everyone numpty. That kind of stuck in my head ( but a bit different) and one day I called him that and it stuck.
