NIGHTMARE!

Ok...this is really weird to me but...


I have had AT LEAST two NIGHTMARES about my being proposed to and receiving a ring.....in all of these dreams the rings have been like a plastic ring or something OPPOSITE of what i picked out etc. the proposals have been opposite of what i dream of etc. its soo crazy! I tell SO every time and he get a kick out of it...but I also told one of my sisters whom recently got married and she said she had the same thing happen before they got engaged. So I thought this may be a funny thread in case im the only crazy having dreams!

Same boat - I have these crazy dreams about it and then wake up all anxious and nervous. It happens to me about once a week. It''s just something that you worry about - my best friend had nightmares about her wedding before it happened.

YIKES!! That''s nuts!! You should look it up on the dream analysis sites. Somewhat insightful...and fun. hehe

I have had dreams:
1) The ring was in a mold I couldn''t break
2) The diamond was SOOOO big it wouldnt stay upright
3) The ring was there and then would go missing
4) Eric dropped the ring it is burst into a million pieces
5) The ring was overly done and I cried

I think dreamslike those can be pretty funny. Can''t wait to see what others dream of.

LOL - This thread brought back a memory of a dream I had once that I woke up from laughing hysterically and still giggle about years later.

In my dream my SO and I were on the beach and he decided that this was the perfect place to propose. I remember he dropped to his knee and was holding out a delicious ring (literally the ring of my dreams) when all of the sudden a seagull flew down and ATE the ring right out of his fingers. In my dream we were both in shock but the best part was when my SO (a normally cool and collected person) completely lost it and began chasing after all these seagulls on the beach while I just sat there yelling, "Stop being ridiculous, you will never figure out which bird it was!".

That was by far my most memorable proposal gone awry dream.

that is SO funny! I had that same exact dream a couple weeks before FI proposed. The ring was totally this huge plastic thing in pink (not my fave color at all). I tried to pretend I liked it but then it kept breaking, and then I lost the stone (oops - so sad). It''s funny now, but when I woke up the next morning I was totally freaked out...

No proposal or diamond related nightmares here but I did have a dream that I sat in the congregation and silently watched, without hope of being able to affect events, while my BF married his work colleague!!! Aaaargh! I was so glad to wake up from that one...

Oh my god!!! That is so funny, I had a dream last week that BF proposed, and we got married 3 days later at my parents house, but with BF's parents' furniture (?!). I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and while in my old bedroom, our moms were decorating and FMIL told BF to put on a kilt (no Irish in the family, mind you). So he stripped down in front of all 3 of us to put on a kilt!! Then my aunt, who lives 3000 miles away, was asking if we wanted to do shots of eggwater (?!?!). It was traumatizing. BF got a good laugh out of it though...

I had another dream a few weeks ago too about him proposing with the ugliest ring I could have ever imagined receiving. Hahaha!!

I have definitely had some weird proposal dreams. One was great, he proposed and I woke up certain i had a ring on my finger...about cried when I realized I didn''t. The worst one I had was when we were hanging out together and I sat there as he proposed to ex-girlfriend over the phone!! Very nightmarish.
I am certain I know what is on our subconscious ( and not so subconscious

) minds.
