So my bf (now fiance!) totally shocked me last night and proposed!!! We''re engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew we would be engaged in the next month or so, but I didn''t think it would be for at least another couple of weeks. Apprently my bf had an entire proposal planned in Central Park for a couple of weeks from now. My sister was in on it and everything. However, the jeweler called last night at 6pm to tell him the ring had come in early and did he want them to put it in the safe for him. My bf did not want to awit even a day! So, they stayed open late so he could run down and pick it up! I, obviously, did not know any of this.
I was out to dinner with a friend and got missed calls from my bf. When I called him back he asked what I was up to, and I said I was headed to the gym. He said that was a bad idea and I should meet him at a park. I thought he wanted to get ice cream or something and I just wanted to work out! But I agreed to meet him anyway. I was pretty clueless because I was positive there was no way the ring could be ready in only a month.
Anyway, we went for a walk around the park and then he stopped in front of a fountain, got down on one knee, said some wonderful things to me and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! I obviously said yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can''t stop smiling!!! Then, like a girl, I called every single person I know. And, like a guy, he called his immediate family, and then just sent a massive text message to his friends. Ha!
I will post pics a little later, but I just wanted to share with you guy. I''ll just say...omg, it''s so much more beautiful than I ever expected!!!! And I''m so happy to be spending the rest of my life with my soul mate!
