We went to buy a PC to replace our 4yo crappy one that has been needing 4-6 restarts before properly starting up. After choosing the items to go into the built-to-order PC, we had to wait for 2 hours and decided to walk to the shopping center nearby to look for some business shirts for DH. Along the way, guess where we walked into?
They just happened to have a new range of GIA cert pre-set stones and I just had to have a look at them. I saw the 0.36ct F/ SI1 (crystal) for SIN$1129 after a 40% discount; 4.54-4.58x2.78, 61% depth, 62% table, slightly thick to thick faceted girdle, no culet, Polish/ Sym: VG, no fluor, minimal light leakage with the IS, some nice arrows but nothing spectacular, the crystal is near one of the prongs and *I* cannot see it (though I havent had enough sleep so),
I have also placed a reservation for another stone (husband doesnt know I am buying it!!) . Another GIA, 0.3ct F/ VS1, 4.28-4.32 x 2.66, Depth 61.9%, Table 58%, Medium to slightly thick faceted girdle, no culet, polish/ sym: good, cloud & feather, no fluor, SIN$1307.40. My local expert said it was a really nice stone and it had kick-ass arrows!! I just *have* to buy it, if not I'd be kicking myself. They also recently came up with making really fine and thin pinky rings from white, rose and yellow gold. And so I also had to have one of those for SIN$19.90
I'll most prolly be making them into earrings, yeah they dont match in measurements but who's going to be able to tell when they are in my ears? And with all that bling going on!!!
Since the PC is new I cant upload my digicam pics and only have this lousy mobile phone one.
