I''ve been running around like a crazy woman this weekend trying to get everything finalized. When I get back from running an errand the first thing I do is update the 10-day forecast on weather.com. I won''t get any glimpse of my wedding day forecast for three more days, but I can''t stop obsessing about the weather (it''s an outdoor wedding).

The thing is, the next 10 days are GORGEOUS and it''s so rare that we get 10 straight days without a drop of rain here in New England that I''m absolutely convinced that the entire time my family is here it will be raining cats and dogs. My original date was next weekend, but that didn''t work for my MOH so I had to push it back a week--and naturally next weekend''s weather is absolutely PERFECT!

Ugh, this is going to drive me crazy and it''s the one thing I can''t control. I just don''t want any rain for the outdoor rehearsal dinner and the outdoor wedding/reception!

I feel your pain! We're 13 days out and for the last four days of the 10-day-update, STORMS! I'm figuring after a good rain, everything will be sunny and cool, but who knows? I guess we won't really know until the day of, huh? We're having an outdoor ceremony/reception too.

Let's send eachother good weather vibes. *sunshine to NewEnglandLady*

I am so sorry about the stress you are under.

Remember I had a previous post that reminds you a clean car will bring rain. Spend every waking moment you have reminding others to come to the wedding in a dirty car. If just one washes...well, it is out of my control.

Don''t worry honey...just stay positive and get rest.

I would not obsess too much. The long range forecasts are not always accurate that far out, so worrying now, no matter what it shows, is not really worthwhile. Just realize you cannot control it no matter what, except by having a plan B in case of bad weather, so just try to relax! If worrying did anything, I would never have any problems!

DKS, you make a very good point! I''m going to ask that NOBODYd cleain their cars before the wedding :) I''ll do anything I can to keep the rain away!

Ebree, after looking online I was able to find a site that forecasts out to 15 days: www.accuweather.com. Obviously some of the forecasts will change, but I''ll take anything I can get right now.

And just as I suspected, they''re calling for cold temperatures and rain from the time my family comes in until they leave, so now I''m counting on Plan B to take place. I guess at the very least they''ll experience real new england weather, none of this gorgeous, warm, dry weather we''ve been experiencing!

Diamondfan, I know you''re absolutely right. There''s nothing to be done and I need to just stop worrying about it. My normally logical brain is just not acting logically right now.

I got married over labor day weekend - outside, in my friend''s backyard.

We had tents, and my friend''s house is decent sized...but plan B would not been near as much fun!

I checked the weather CONSTANTLY! I''d say just sort of give in to it...you know you want to check...but don''t put TOO much faith in the forecast...unless it is good, then it''ll come true!

It totally doesn''t hurt to think good thoughts!
